Sun, Soil, Nature, and Soulmates: Volunteering Life at EcoCostel in Moldova

In a world that often feels rushed, noisy, and complicated, I chose a different path. I chose the countryside. I chose simplicity. I chose harmony. And through my small project, the EcoCostel Guesthouse in Moldova, I hope to share a glimpse of this dream with others.

Volunteering at EcoCostel isn’t just about lending a hand — it’s about reconnecting with the earth, with each other, and with ourselves. Every morning starts with the soft hum of bees, the scent of fresh herbs in the air, and the warm sun rising over rolling fields. Days are filled with simple but rewarding activities: tending the gardens, helping with eco-friendly building projects, preparing fresh meals from the land, or just sitting under a tree, talking, sharing stories, and enjoying the moment.

There’s something deeply relaxing about this life. No traffic jams. No endless to-do lists. No screens constantly buzzing for attention. Just real life — raw, beautiful, and incredibly rich.

When you volunteer here, you become part of something living and growing. You are not a guest or a worker. You are part of a small, beating heart of a dream for a better, more sustainable world.

But beyond the joy of daily life, I have a more personal hope too.

I am searching for a special lady to walk this path of life with me — a partner not just in love, but in this vision of living simply, naturally, and harmoniously with the earth. I believe that volunteering is one of the most beautiful ways for two people to truly get to know each other. Not in the rushed atmosphere of a noisy city café, or through endless text messages, but by working side by side, creating something meaningful together.

When two people plant seeds, pick apples, build a garden bench, or prepare homemade bread — they reveal their hearts. In the countryside, there are no masks. Just laughter, simple challenges, teamwork, and honest conversations. In this natural rhythm of life, true connection has the space to blossom.

I know I am a dreamer. Some people might say that choosing this way of life is naive — that living close to the land, valuing sustainability, building a small world full of creativity and care, is just a fantasy in today's fast-paced society. But I believe with all my heart that dreaming is the first step toward creating something beautiful and real. EcoCostel place is proof of that.

This place is not just a guesthouse. It’s an invitation to a different way of living — where nature is not an obstacle, but a friend; where community is more important than competition; where days are measured by the songs of birds and the blooming of flowers, not by the ticking of a clock.

Here, we compost, we reuse, we grow food, we build with our hands, we laugh around campfires, and we dream under the stars. Every small action matters. Every seed planted is a step toward a more sustainable, meaningful life.

So if you, like me, feel that call — if you long for simplicity, if you believe that life can be rich and beautiful without being complicated, if you dream of a world where we live in harmony with the earth — I warmly invite you to come volunteer at EcoCostel.

Maybe you are simply looking for a break from the chaos of modern life. Maybe you are searching for new friends, new skills, or just a fresh breeze for your soul. Or maybe, like me, you are searching for something even deeper — a connection that can grow into love, rooted in shared dreams and shared work.

At EcoCostel, anything is possible, because here, we believe in dreams — and in the power of people who dare to live them.

Come with open hands and an open heart. The countryside is calling, and life here, though simple, is full of the richest treasures: peace, laughter, discovery, and perhaps the beginning of a beautiful story.

After all, it is not such a crazy dream — to live a life that feels real, with someone who dreams alongside you.
